My late Aunt Tawana made the most amazing cakes, and her red velvet recipe is the first I ever learned how to make from scratch.
This vegan twist on her signature recipe is faithful to the Southern red velvet you know and love, but made with fully plant-based ingredients.

Moist, decadent vegan red velvet cake layered with non-dairy cream cheese frosting, and decorated with just the right amount of sweet, silky vanilla icing.
Ingredients
Vegan red velvet cake (unbleached flour, organic cane sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, water, non-GMO expeller pressed canola oil, vanilla extract, red food coloring, distilled white vinegar); non-dairy cream cheese icing (organic powdered sugar [organic sugar, tapioca starch], organic all-vegetable shortening [organic palm oil], vegan cream cheese [filtered water, coconut oil, potato starch, sea salt, glucono-delta-lactone, olive extract, vegan flavoring]), water, vanilla extract, organic lemon juice, sea salt; silky vegan vanilla frosting (organic powdered sugar [organic sugar, tapioca starch], organic all-vegetable shortening [organic palm oil], water, vanilla extract, organic lemon juice, sea salt).

- All items contain wheat. We do not offer gluten-free vegan desserts at this time.
- Our vegan bakery operates in a shared commercial kitchen space that may also process goods containing dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. We do not use these common allergens in our ingredients and make every effort to keep our space clean and allergen-free. However, those with severe allergies should be advised that we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination. In the future, our goal is to have our own facility that is 100% free of these common allergens.

Ordering your vegan cake for delivery? Here’s what you need to know
- Friday 1pm EST is the cutoff to receive orders the following week.
- Items are shipped Monday through Wednesday. Please select a shipping date at checkout. Note that this is not the delivery date.
- Expected transit time is 2-days. Please ensure you select a shipping date that allows for delivery prior to your event.
- We ship within the continental United States. This excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories.
- We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
- We are not liable for any delays or damages incurred by the courier. While we do our best to package our products carefully, we ultimately cannot account for incidents that may occur during transit.
Cake Care
For maximum indulgence, store your vegan cake properly
- Your cake will arrive frozen! If you aren’t serving immediately, we recommend refrigerating your cake in the cake container provided for your convenience.
- For best taste, bring the cake to room temperature before serving. This may take up to 8 hours since the cake arrived frozen.
- To retain moisture once cut, keep cake in an airtight container or use food wrap to store at room temperature only.
- Consume within 5 days.
- Freshly sliced leftovers freeze well for up to 5 months. Package in freezer-safe wrap to prevent drying and freezer burn.
